Mobile Industry has announced Universal Charger for all Mobile Phones
Hello Friends,
In Mobile World Congress 2009 at Barcelona , all leading mobile phone manufactures are agreed to produce a universal charger for all mobile phone.
“This is a broad agreement that will move the industry to a single, energy-efficient charger for all mobile phones,” said Michael O’Hara, marketing director for the GSM Association (GSMA).
This universal charger is of mini-USB port and you can use it for any mobile phone. Most of mobile companies will manufacture Mobiles with the port by 2012 which will compatible with New universal Charger.
Here are the companies that are agreed to produces mobile phones compatible with this new charger.
Nokia , Motorola , Samsung , LG , Sony Ericsson , Orange , 3 Group, AT&T, KTF, mobilkom austria , Vodafone , Telenor , Telecom Italia, Telefónica, Telstra, Qualcomm and T-Mobile.

Day by day Nokia is trying to provide more and more online services , now Nokia is in collaboration with Skype and you can access your Skype account in future nokia mobiles and you can access all the functionality( VoIP and IM ) of Skype in future Nokia mobiles which you are using on your Desktop or Laptop.

Microsoft has introduced Windows Mobile 6.5 beta version of operating system for windows mobile.The new features included in this operating system looks like same as PC operating system for small devices. The new operating system is more user friendly and designed with more flash. so it looks more attractive than previous one.
Samsung will launch world’s first Solar-Powered phone

Samsung has announced to launch world’s first solar powered cellphone. Name of the cellphone is “Blue Earth”. The phone made using recycled plastic and it has small solar panel to provide power. A handset is fully charged around 10 hours using solar power and you can use it up to 4 hours contunious talking. Also you can charge this handset using normal charger along with solar power.
HTC introduced HTC MAX 4G – world’s first GSM/WiMAX smart phone

HTC announced to launch HTC MAX 4G mobile in collaboration with Russian Mobile WiMAX provider. This is the world’s first GSM/WiMAX smart phone which allows the HTC MAX 4G to hop seamlessly from GSM networks to Mobile WiMAX networks. With a SIM card inserted, HTC MAX 4G can make voice calls to most GSM networks. And when the user comes within range of Scartel’s Mobile WiMAX network, the HTC MAX 4G will route the call through the WiMAX data network as a VoIP call.

Won’t that be great when we don’t have to go running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off when we misplace a charger? Just ask a friend instead. Too bad Apple and Palm aren’t joining in.
