How to enable/disable the Windows XP login prompt for password.
Even if you have not set the password(Blank password) for user account in Windows XP, it will ask for password when you will start your PC and you have to click on enter button to go ahead. I am sure all those people hate to click on that as they have set blank password.
Look at the below to disable login prompt for password in Windows XP.
- Click Start >> Run
- Type “control userpasswords2” and press enter (click on OK).
- Untick the box for “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.“
- Click Apply and Ok. Now Restart your PC.
To Enable login prompt for password in Windows XP , Follow the below steps.
Instead of Uncheck box as per above stps, Check the box for “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.” To see the changes, Restart the PC.
