Upload Photos from your Mobile Phone to your Facebook Account

Generally we will capture photos in our mobile using camara of mobile -  Now what you want is to upload all photos to your account like Orkut , Facebook etc.

For uploading this photos you have to take all those photos to your desktop and than you can upload all those photos to your account. But now you dont need to do all this if you want to upload photos from your mobile to Facebook account.

There are three ways by which you can upload photos from a mobile phone to the Facebook website.

1. MMS.
2. Mobile Phone Apps.
3. Email.

Facebook Application for Mobile:

If you are using a Smartphone like the BlackBerry, iPhone, Windows Mobile or Nokia , you can visit m.facebook.com using the internet browser of your mobile phone and download the Facebook application for your device. These application will often integrate with the camera function of your phone and provide an option to upload pictures directly to Facebook right after they’ve been taken.

If there is no official Facebook application available for your mobile , you may also check the mobile application at Shozu.com – Shozu is available for a  large number of mobile phones and it allows to upload photos and videos to social sites like Orkut , Facebook and many more.

Facebook MMS:

Now if you dont have smartphone and still want to move pictures from the phone to Facebook, you can use MMS.
Compose a new MMS message on your mobile phone and attach the image file that you want to post to your Facebook stream with the MSS message. Send that MMS to mobile@facebook.com (email, not phone) and Facebook will send you a confirmation code (via text) to associate your mobile phone number with your Facebook profile.

The MMS option looks like a nice technique for upload photos from old phones but the problem is that it may not always work as expected and secondly, sending MMS messages per picture (depending upon your carrier plan) can sometimes turn out to be an expensive proposition.

Facebook Email

Luckily, there is another option if you can send email from your mobile. Go to facebook.com/mobile and note a special “upload” email address that has been assigned to you by Facebook which is unique. The photo or video that you want to upload in your facebook , Just send that to this address via email and it will instantly get posted to your Facebook page.

When you send a photo to this email address, the subject of your email message will be used as the photo caption just like Flickr.  And these photos will get saved in the “Mobile Uploads” photo album of your Facebook account which is visible to all your Facebook contacts. You can change the privacy settings of your “Mobile Uploads” folder to change the default viewership of photos upload from a mobile device.
